Lufthansa Technik has been focusing on expanding its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for CFM International LEAP engines, having previously signed agreements with multiple airlines for LEAP engine support, including Avianca and Smartwings1 2. Lufthansa Technik was among the first independent MRO providers to secure a CFM Branded Service Agreement for LEAP-1B engines, ensuring it could offer a wide range of MRO services to its customers3.
