Western Sydney International Airport secured agreements with Qantas Freight and Menzies Aviation for operations at its 24-hour Cargo Precinct, set to enhance Sydney's air cargo capacity by approximately 33% upon opening in 20261. The airport also completed construction of its 3.7km runway, promising reduced taxi times and enhanced flight capacity2.
