Washington corporate leaders urge Boeing to construct B787 assembly line in Washington State

Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO, Jim Albaugh, received (13-Oct-2009) a letter from more than two dozen CEOs and corporate leaders, urging Boeing to construct a second B787 assembly line in Washington State. The company is expected to select a location for the new assembly line by the end of 2009, with the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, Kansas, Texas and California also being considered.
