Wamos Air previously requested Brazil ANAC authorisation to operate non scheduled services to Brazil, having operated repatriation flights during the COVID-19 pandemic.1 Wamos Air CEO Enrique Saiz said it held agreements with multiple partners, including a contract with TAP Air Portugal since Jun-2023 for two daily Lisbon services to Salvador de Bahía and Recife.2 Awesome Cargo also received Brazil ANAC authorisation for scheduled cargo services to Brazil.3
