Volaris CEO Enrique Beltranena said in Apr-2026 that demand stayed resilient domestically and internationally, while it implemented targeted domestic capacity reductions and prioritised higher-yielding transborder flying.1 On its 1Q2026 earnings call, Mr Beltranena said it executed targeted fare and ancillary adjustments, citing roughly 10% fare improvement and about 20% increases in selected ancillary products.2 He also said Volaris strengthened revenue quality and optimised capacity deployment amid a more challenging fuel environment in 1Q2026.3
