Visitors to Beijing up 25% in 1H2010

Beijing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection stated visitors to the city increased 24.6% year-on-year to 8.0 million in the first six months of 2010 (CAAC-News, 24-Aug-2010). Visitors to the capital are expected to reach 16 million in 2010. According to the agency, visitors to Beijing have been increasing at an average rate of 17% p/a since 2004.
