Visitor arrivals to Mauritius up 22.2% in Apr-2011

Mauritius' Ministry of Tourism and Leisure reports (16-May-2011) the visitor arrivals to Mauritius rose 22.2% year-on-year in Apr-2011. Details include:

  • Visitor arrivals: 79,173, +22.2% year-on-year;
    • Europe: 52,727, +20.5%;
    • Africa: 17,623, +24.1%;
    • Asia: 5667, +16.5%;
    • Oceania: 1516, +66%;
    • America: 1558, +59.1%.
