Virgin Australia's 86.9% on time departure rate in May-2025 was ahead of other major carriers, with Qantas Airways at 85.6% and Jetstar Airways at 80.5%. Its on time arrival rate of 85.0% and cancellation rate of 0.8% were also the best among major airlines for the month, according to official Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics data1.
