Virgin Australia previously requested a capacity allocation of 1304 seats per week to Vanuatu, intending to operate seven additional weekly frequencies to Port Vila from Jul-2024 with Boeing 737 aircraft, with the allocation sought for five years1 2. Earlier, it applied to renew determinations covering 720 and 180 weekly seats on the Vanuatu route, allowing codeshares with Singapore Airlines, Etihad Airways, and Qatar Airways3.
