Virgin Atlantic pilots' talks proceed

BALPA stated that negotiations aimed at avoiding industrial action by pilots at Virgin Atlantic were adjourned after a “good exchange of views”, adding that “some progress” was made (Breaking News, 25-Aug-2010). The talks will resume at a later date.

Virgin Atlantic: “We have had constructive talks with our pilots’ representatives and have presented a clear proposal to clarify the issue ... We recognise the significant contribution that our pilots make to our business and are pleased that we have been able to respond to their concerns in this way.” Source: Breaking News, 25-Aug-2010.
