Vietnam previously announced visa waivers for Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland from 15-Mar-2025 to 14-Mar-2028, and waived visas for Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland from 01-Mar-2025 to 31-Dec-20251. The government had also considered extending visa-free stays from 15 to 45 days to attract more tourists2.
