The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam confirmed Phan Thiet Airport will feature a 3050m runway and will be designated as a level 4E airport, serving both civil and military functions1. The Binh Thuan Department of Planning and Investment stated construction for military operations at the airport was set to be completed by Jan-20242. Additionally, Binh Thuan Province had reviewed investor capacity for the project, with construction initially expected to start in early 20233.
