CAAV pursued broader bilateral and multilateral engagement to improve international connectivity, including talks with French counterparts on increasing Vietnam–France frequencies under the ASEAN-EU Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement, citing declining traffic via Middle Eastern transit points1. It also explored new links with Azerbaijan, Armenia and Bangladesh, including discussions on direct services and potential new air transport agreements2 3 4. Separately, Türkiye’s DGCA signed an air services MoU with Hong Kong on 15-Sep-2025, lifting passenger frequencies to 14 weekly and allowing fifth freedom rights5.
