Vietnam Airlines takes delivery of 10th 787

Vietnam Airlines received (25-Nov-2016) its 10th Boeing 787-9 and deployed the aircraft on Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City service on 26-Nov-2016. The airline received its first 787 in Jul-2015. The carrier operates 787s on Beijing, Frankfurt, London and Tokyo Narita services and plans to deploy the aircraft on Melbourne and Sydney services in 2017. The fleet has so far operated more than 7600 services, recording 35,500 flight hours and transporting approximately 1.79 million passengers.
