VietJet orders 20 A321s, finalises training agreement with Airbus

VietJet Air placed (06-Sep-2016) a firm order with Airbus for 10 A321ceo and 10 A321neo aircraft scheduled for delivery from 2017 to 2020. The agreement is valued at approximately USD2.39 billion at current list prices. Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP advised VietJet on the purchase. The parties also finalised an agreement under which Airbus will provide flight crew and maintenance personnel training services at the airline's new facility in Ho Chi Minh City.
