VietJet moving towards hybrid business model and long haul routes: Vice chair

VietJet Air vice chairwoman, VP of finance and group CFO Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Asia, stated (02-Oct-2026) the next step in the airline's development is to "move forward to the hybrid business model" and develop its long haul business. Ms Phuong said implementing Starlink connectivity is part of the carrier's efforts to evolve to a hybrid business model.
