ValueJet commences Accra-Banjul service

ValueJet, via its official Facebook and Twitter accounts, announced (12-May-2026) it commenced three times weekly Accra-Banjul service. There are no other regular scheduled nonstop services between Ghana and Gambia, according to OAG and the CAPA Route Capacity Analyser.

Background

ValueJet previously launched twice weekly Lagos-Banjul service on 15-May-2025, with OAG indicating no other carriers operated the route.1 Overland Airways also launched three times weekly Lagos-Banjul service on 21-Dec-2024, reportedly via Freetown, after Gambia Civil Aviation Authority MD Nfansu Bojang said it was granted fifth freedom rights under SAATM.2
