Uzbekistan Airways to take delivery of 1st 787 in Aug-2016

Uzbekistan Airways announced (27-Apr-2016) plans to take delivery of the first of two Boeing 787 aircraft in late Aug-2016. The carrier is preparing ground handling infrastructure, as well as training engineers and flight crew ahead of the delivery. As previously reported by CAPA, Uzbekistan Airways Technics plans to open Boeing 787 MRO centre in Sep-2016. According to CAPA Fleet Database, the carrier currently deploys 35 aircraft.
