The US TSA reached a new collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of Government Employees effective 24-May-2024, which included enhanced benefits for non-supervisory screening officers1. The TSA also reported a significant decline in workforce attrition rates following the implementation of the Transportation Security Compensation Plan, aligning TSA pay with the federal General Schedule pay scale2. Additionally, the TSA experienced a record volume of passenger screenings and expanded its workforce in 20243.
