Kazakhstan's Senate approved amendments to aviation legislation intended to prepare for a US FAA assessment and support the development of nonstop Kazakhstan-US services, aligning national laws with international standards and recommended practices.1 Kazakhstan's Vice Minister of Transport Talgat Lastayev said the country's compliance rate with international aviation safety standards reached 95.7% in 2025, placing it among the top 20 worldwide.2
