US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy previously announced multiple FAA airport-funding rounds spanning both the Airport Improvement Programme (AIP) and Airport Infrastructure Grants (AIG), including USD615 million for 238 AIP grants supporting runway/taxiway works, family-friendly terminal features and airfield safety upgrades.1 The FAA also awarded a combined USD1.8 billion under AIP and AIG to airports in 46 states, covering major pavement and terminal projects at airports such as Denver, Boise and New York JFK.2
