US Airways passenger numbers up 1.5% - consolidated traffic highlights in Jun-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 5.3 million, +1.5% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 4.7 million, +0.4%;
    • Trans-Atlantic: 284,776, +2.7%;
    • Latin America: 340,188, +19.3%;
  • Load factor: 86.4%, +0.2 ppt;
    • Domestic: 86.4%, -0.8 ppt;
    • Trans-Atlantic: 88.3%, +5.5 ppts;
    • Latin America: 81.9%, -3.1%;
  • Revenue per ASM: +23%;
  • Passenger revenue per ASM: +22%. [more]

US Airways: "Our June consolidated [mainline and Express] passenger revenue per available seat mile [PRASM] increased approximately 22% versus the same period last year while total revenue per available seat mile increased approximately 23% on a year-over-year basis.
