US Airways Group pax up 4%, load up 2 ppts in Mar-2013; PRASM flat

US Airways Group reports (03-Apr-2013) the following traffic highlights:

  • Mar-2013:
    • Passenger numbers: 5.7 million, +4.1% year-on-year;
      • Domestic: 5.1 million, +4.1%;
      • Trans-Atlantic: 173,347, -3.3%;
      • Latin America: 415,096, +7.3%;
    • Passenger load factor: 85.6%, +1.6 ppt;
      • Domestic: 86.3%, +0.9 ppt;
      • Trans-Atlantic: 82.5%, +4.9 ppts;
      • Latin America: 84.2%, +1.5 ppt;
  • Three months ended 31-Mar-2013:
    • Passenger numbers: 15.4 million, +2.0%;
      • Domestic: 13.9 million, +1.9%;
      • Trans-Atlantic: 436,560, -1.4%;
      • Latin America: 1.1 million, +5.6%;
    • Passenger load factor: 82.4%, +2.2 ppts;
      • Domestic: 84.2%, +1.5 ppt;
