United Continental Holdings passenger numbers up 3% in Oct-2010

United Continental Holdings reports (05-Nov-2010) the following traffic highlights in Oct-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 12.4 million, +3.0% year-on-year;
  • Passenger traffic (RPMs): +5.9%;
    • United Airlines: +6.5%;
    • Continental: +5%;
  • Passenger load factor: 83.5%, +0.7 ppt;
    • United Airlines: 83.7%, +0.6 ppt;

United Continental Holdings: “For Oct-2010, United's consolidated RASM increased an estimated 13.0 to 14.0% compared to Oct-2009, while United's mainline RASM increased an estimated 14.0 to 15.0% compared to the same period last year.
