United Continental Holdings has capital commitments of USD18.5bn

United Continental Holdings stated (18-Jul-2012) the capital commitments of the company are expected to total USD18.5 billion. The company's capital commitments, as of 30-Jun-2012, primarily relate to the acquisition of aircraft and related spare engines, aircraft improvements and acquisition of information technology services and assets.
