United Continental has over 90 million FFP members, to reduce capacity in 2012

United Continental Holdings president and CEO Jeffery A Smisek stated (06-Sep-2012) the carrier is further reducing 2012 capacity in response to the economic outlook. Capacity is estimated to be down by 0.75% to 1.75% in FY2012. He also stated the carrier has over 90 million worldwide members to its MileagePlus loyalty programme, with over 100 partnerships.
