Unite previously ended a pay dispute across the Highlands and Islands Airports Limited group after members accepted a revised offer including a 7% basic uplift for those earning up to GBP44,000 and a 5% rise in shift allowances.1 HIAL earlier reported staff represented by PCS, Prospect and Unite rejected a pay offer, with HIAL MD Inglis Lyon citing affordability within existing finances and plans to meet unions to seek a solution.2
