The UK's Serious Fraud Office previously launched a criminal investigation into suspected fraud at AOG Technics, which had supplied parts for CFM56 and CF6 engines since 2015. Alerts were issued by the UK CAA, EASA and US FAA in 2023 regarding potentially affected engine parts from AOG Technics1. Investigations identified falsified release certificates linked to parts in numerous engines2 3 4.
