Uganda's Parliament reportedly approved UGX422.26 billion in supplementary funding for Uganda Airlines in FY2025/26 for aircraft acquisitions, after Minister of Works and Transport Edward Katumba Wamala submitted a UGX1696 billion supplementary budget in Dec-2025.1 2 The government also planned additional capitalisation to acquire more aircraft and open more passenger and cargo routes, while Entebbe International Airport's upgrade was described as nearly complete, including new cargo and passenger terminal facilities.3
