Uganda's Parliament passed the Civil Aviation Authority Bill to align UCAA with the Convention on International Civil Aviation, including provisions for regulatory enhancements and investigation powers for incidents and accidents involving Ugandan-registered aircraft1. Uganda also signed recent agreements with ICAO to develop a new National Air Navigation Plan and address training needs for operations, regulatory oversight, and air navigation services2 3.
