Turkish Airlines to establish up to ten new destinations in Africa in 2010

Turkish Airlines has reportedly finalised plans of opening up an office in Uganda and commence four times weekly service to Entebbe in Jun-2010, as part of plans to turn Africa into the airline's "most valuable destination" (as declared by the Turkish Foreign Ministry in 2005) (newvision, 24-Mar-2010). The carrier stated it plans to establish up to ten new destinations in Africa in 2010, five of which will be launched in 1H2010.
