Turkish Airlines to decide on Airbus and Boeing options
Turkish Airlines could reportedly acquire 25 more passenger aircraft before a deadline for a purchase option expires shortly (Hurriyet/Balkans.com, 27-Jan-2011). The options to purchase 10 A319 and 15 B737-800 aircraft were part of a 64-aircraft order the company placed in 2009. Executives from Boeing and Airbus are reportedly scheduled to meet with the airline to discuss the decision.
