Turkish Airlines pax numbers up 26% in 1Q2013, cargo up 14%

Turkish Airlines reports (16-Apr-2013) the following traffic highlights for the three months ended Mar-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 10 million, +26% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: +16%;
    • International: +33%;
    • International Business/Comfort class: +21%;
    • Transfer passengers: +38%;
  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +30%;
  • Capacity (ASKs): +21%;
  • Load factor: 77.9%, +5.1 ppts;
