Turkish Airlines aims to carry 38 million pax; generate USD7.8bill revenue in 2012

Turkish Airlines stated it expects to handle 38 million passengers and generate USD7.8 billion in revenue in 2012. According to Today's Zaman, passenger numbers will increase by 17% from forecast 2011 levels, with a 20% year-on-year increase in revenues. CEO Temel Kotil said the carrier also plans to increase transit passengers to 40% in 2012 as it expands its network.
