Turkey's airports enjoy strong traffic growth

Turkey's DHMI announced passenger traffic is up at most of the country's major airports, with the country's airports handling a combined 89.5 million passengers in the year-to-date (Jan-Oct) period, an increase of 21.5% over 2009 (World Bulletin, 05-Nov-2010). International traffic is up 18.1% and domestic traffic is up 25.4% in the period.
