Turkey reports 17% increase in Jan-2012 pax, cargo up 4%

Turkey's Director General of State Airports Authority (DHMI) passenger numbers up 17.2% - traffic highlights for Jan-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 7.4 million, +17.2% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 4.8 million, +16.0%;
    • International: 2.6 million, +19.5%;
  • Cargo volume: 127,149 tonnes, +4.0%;
    • Domestic: 47,030, +22.0%;
    • International: 83,660, +0.0%;
  • Aircraft movements: 60,305, +7.6%;
    • Domestic: 36,632, +7.3%;
    • International: 23,673, +8.1%.
