Transport Canada previously awarded CAD3.9 million to Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport under the Airports Capital Assistance Programme for taxiway rehabilitation and apron paving.1 The airport also received up to CAD186.2 million via the National Trade Corridors Fund for works including main runway reconstruction, parallel runway upgrades and a new rotary operations area.2 Canada's Government and the Yukon Government marked completion of a two-phase runway reconstruction project including new Taxiway F and drainage/electrical upgrades.3
