Transaero to add up to eight new aircraft in 2010

Transaero General Manager, Olga Pleashakova, reportedly stated the carrier plans to take delivery of one or two B777s, two B737-800s, and three or four B737-500 during 2010, to enable the carrier to complete the formation of its domestic network in 2010 (aex, 30-Dec-2009). In the European Spring, the carrier also reportedly plans to launch services to the Far East from St Petersburg, with the carrier also planning to launch Moscow-Beijing services at some point in 2010.
