Airports Authority of India said India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Tiruchirappalli’s new 75,000sqm integrated passenger terminal on 02-Jan-2024, with capacity for up to 4.4 million passengers p/a and 60 check in counters, 44 immigration inspection counters, 10 aerobridges and five arrivals baggage carousels, following an INR11.1 billion investment1.
