Tianjin Airport reports passenger numbers up 23% in 2009

Tianjin Binhai International Airport reports the following traffic highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009 (Carnocnews, 11-Jan-2010):

Passenger numbers: 5.8 million, +23% year-on-year;
Cargo volume: 167,000 tonnes, +0.5%;
Aircraft movements: 64,000, +14.8%;
Revenue: +24%.
Target for 2010:
- Passenger numbers: 7.0 million;
- Cargo volume: 200,000 tonnes;
- Aircraft movements: 70,000.
