Collins Aerospace previously introduced the Helix main cabin seat for narrowbody aircraft, positioning it as a lighter-weight economy seat that increased passenger “living space”, underseat stowage and IFE flexibility, and said it was engaged with multiple airline customers on Helix introductions.1 Collins also scaled narrowbody seat production, delivering Meridian seat shipments to Airbus from its Tanauan City facility and planning to triple assembly capacity to support multiple OEM linefits and retrofits.2
