Thomson Airways to welcome 250,000th 787 passenger

Thomson Airways stated (29-Oct-2013) it will soon welcome the 250,000th passenger on board its Boeing 787-8 fleet. Thomson Airways director of customer service Carl Gissing said: "We're really excited about hitting the 250,000 passenger mark on board the Dreamliner and operating to some different long-haul destinations this winter. As a business, we've worked really hard to modernise our holidays and the 787 has been a key part of that. We knew that customers travelling on the Dreamliner this summer would really enjoy the in-flight experience that this revolutionary new aircraft offers, so we're delighted to receive such excellent customer feedback." According to the CAPA Fleet Database, the carrier currently operates a fleet of four 787-8 aircraft. [more - original PR]
