VietJet Air and Boeing reached an agreement enabling up to 50 aircraft from VietJet's order of 200 Boeing 737s to be transferred to Thai VietJet Air, with deliveries scheduled to commence from Oct-2025 and comprehensive technical support included for the new fleet in Thailand1. Thai VietJet aimed for a fully Boeing fleet of 50 aircraft by 2028, with nine 737 MAX 8s due by end 20252.
