Thai Airways and Thai Aviation Industries signed an MoU to explore cooperation in aircraft maintenance, parts, engines and components, aiming to strengthen Thailand’s MRO capabilities and aviation competitiveness.1 The carrier also previously received approval for a THB9.31 billion investment to acquire five passenger aircraft with 1670 seats and 303 tons of cargo capacity.2 Thailand’s Ministry of Transport also sought approval for seven transport projects worth THB133 billion, including a THB9 billion eastern expansion of Suvarnabhumi’s passenger terminal.3
