Thai AirAsia to list shares in 3Q2011

Thai AirAsia CEO Tassapon Bijleveld said the carrier plans to list shares on the Thai bourse in late 3Q2011 (Reuters, 09-Feb-2011). The proceeds would be used for cash reserves, to repay debt and for working capital. Mr Tassapon added: "We are now selecting a financial advisor and expect to mandate the advisor over the next two weeks." The Thai unit is aiming at 2011 revenue growth of 20-25%.
