HungaroControl previously selected Tern Systems' Polaris air traffic management system for implementation in Hungary, with a factory acceptance test passed for delivery in 2H2025 and collaboration commencing in 20201. HungaroControl also contracted Thales for an upgraded TopSky ATC system, joining the Alliance One initiative2. Additionally, it awarded ERA a contract for a wide area multilateration system to enhance surveillance in north western Hungary3.
