Georgia’s Government and TAV Airports signed an agreement to invest approximately USD150 million to advance the next phase at Tbilisi International Airport and extend the concession to end-2031, with completion expected as early as 2028.1 Georgia’s Deputy Minister for Economy and Sustainable Development Tamar Ioseliani said Tbilisi was operating at maximum capacity, with passengers exceeding five million p/a.2 TAV Georgia also funded Batumi Airport upgrades, including a 1000sqm terminal expansion and more check-in counters and gates.3
