TAROM CEO Bogdan Costas said it planned to add four Boeing 737 MAX eight aircraft by Mar-2027 and was in talks with Boeing for an additional MAX eight delivery in 2028, with the current fleet including three 737-700s, four 737-800s and six ATR 72-600s, per the CAPA Fleet Database1. TAROM and CDB Aviation previously signed lease agreements for two 189-seat 737 MAX eight aircraft from CDB Aviation's Boeing orderbook, originally slated for delivery between Dec-2025 and Jan-20262.
