Background ✨
TAP appointed Renato Teobaldo Rodrigues Inácio as CFO from 05-Feb-2026, replacing Gonçalo Neves da Costa Monteiro Pires following his resignation, and listed Mário Rogério Carvalho Chaves among board members and executive committee members at that time1. TAP Air Portugal CEO Luís Rodrigues said the carrier should join a major aviation group “soon”, after Portugal’s President signed a decree approving TAP’s privatisation in Aug-2025, with Air France, Lufthansa and IAG expressing interest2.
