Takenaka appointed to construct Singapore Changi Airport terminal four

Singapore's Changi Airport Group awarded (26-Dec-2013) the SGD985 million (USD776 million) contract for the construction of terminal four at Singapore Changi Airport to Takenaka Corporation. The 195,000sqm terminal will have capacity for 16 million passengers p/a. The project also includes construction of two carparks with a total of 1500 spaces, a holding area for taxis, road improvement works, a bridge for airside vehicles to access remote aircraft stands and a 68m tall ramp control tower.
